The atmosphere is so cool! Great to sit right by the water. We even saw a dolphin! Our server was very friendly and great! The fish tacos were 10/10 (I got mahi), so delicious and fresh! The day boat grouper was also nice and light! Overall definitely recommend checking out!
Love the ambiance of this place! The location is amazing, incredible views and so many great staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food and service took a bit, our waitress was new her name was Marisa I think, and a little forgetful , (she forgot my ranch, our bar beverages, they even came out warm but I got another one), but she tried to be attentive. And we were very relaxed so it was fine. Will go back and try again.
Beautiful waterfront vibes! Finally made it here, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Andre, really elevated the experience for us. He took time to get to know us, was friendly and fun! Some reviews say the food is mediocre, but honestly, we all enjoyed what we ordered. The island chicken sandwich was moist and flavorful. The coconut shrimp was crispy with a honey mustard dipping sauce. My friends ordered a selection of the tacos and agreed the grouper was the best. The key lime pie was tart with a perfect crust. They had a reggae band playing all afternoon, and it was just a fun day! Will be back asap!!
This was our final dinner when we were in Tampa and it was delicious. The restaurant is beautiful. We were first seated near the edge of the water, but we asked to be moved under the awning because it did look like it was going to rain. The coastal crabcake sandwich was really good. The lobster bisque was even better
If there is a place that screams beach & Tampa, this is it! What a great vibe with good food and nice views! I've heard tons about the salt shack on the bay, but finally made it over for a dinner! They had great drinks and food! Not to mention the kind servers and management! I will say the food took a little bit of time but I wasn't in a rush and it was great! Portions are average and I recommend the gator bites if you get a chance!
Location - Excellent view of Old Tampa Bay and the bridge and the skyline of downtown St. Petersburg (5 out of 5 stars) Service - Fast & Friendly (5 out of 5 stars) Pricing- Super reasonable (5 out of 5)... was $50 for two for lunch with adult beverages Island Chicken Sandwich - sooo good! The fries were seasoned well and the little white dipping sauce was delicious (5 out of 5 stars) Jerk Pork Tacos - a little salty but very flavorful along with the side Cesar Salad (5 out of 5 stars) Skinny Margarita- tasty but a little watered down (4 / 5) Mai Thai - okay ... think the well rum they use gave a plastic like after taste ( 3 out of 5 stars)
Great spot with an incredible view! Had the chicken tacos with yuca fries, very delicious! Also tried the Mai Tai. Everything was great. Service at first was a little slow but the food came out pretty quick. The view of the water is great and there's a lot of seating and shade to be able to eat there on a sunny weekend. Highly recommend.
This place has won so many awards I'm not sure why it doesn't have six stars The weight is ridiculously long, but that means that it is super popular! While you are waiting you can walk around that area, chill on multiple Bermuda chairs, and still grab drinks from the bar. They overlook the bay and a bridge that has a gorgeous sunset. Once sunset happens, the place clears out a little bit, but not much! The food is smaller portions for appetizers, but incredibly good. The wait staff was ridiculously polite and had to deal with a lot of different people but never broke their stride or smile. I would highly recommend the daily catch pan seared. We devoured it. I'm a little upset I didn't get more pictures but it was so delicious and we were so hungry that we attacked our food as soon as it was put down.
This place is an easy 5! The overall rating is in the 3 range because of a few 1-star reviews, one of which being because the frozen drinks weren't frosty enough. Another was because of bad parking. This is somewhat true but there are no parking fees and you will find a spot and just have to walk 50 yards--and that's only at peak times. The views combined with the music and breeze is insane. You will be hard-pressed to find a better spot if you're looking for atmosphere. The staff is right on the money. Friendly people working hard. The drinks are good despite being a little expensive but that should be expected for this kind of location. The Mojito is popular because it's a beach restaurant/bar. If you drink (responsibly), I would take advantage of this because many bars around the country don't serve Mojitos because they don't have the mint. The salad was superb and the Island Chicken and Fries was a solid meal but not amazing. From what I overheard while there, food is mostly good yet not amazing but, in my strong opinion, it's more than made up for by vibe, scenery, music, service and Mojitos. Bonus is that you might see manatees and/or dolphins. Overall, highly recommended!
